The Alliance for Youth is a lean, determined, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with 35+ years of experience creating social change to advance healthy youth development through collaborative approaches to prevention, intervention and treatment. All donations are tax deductible. The Alliance for Youth needs your support now more than ever, as Great Falls and the surrounding area have crisis levels of youth homelessness and an overloaded foster care system, with more than 600 children in Great Falls who are homeless at some point during the year, and more than 300 children currently in foster care in Cascade County.

How Your Generosity Has Impacted Our Community

In the last Year Alliance for Youth has:

  • Helped 250+ youth with basic necessities such as food, clothing, showers and access to laundry facilities.
  • Provided 4,000+ rides to help youth access services.
  • Served more than 5,000 meals.
  • Re-engaged 50+ youth in school.
  • Supported 25 youth in obtaining employment
  • Provided Peer Support to more than 100 individuals who struggle with substance abuse.
  • Provided recovery supports, including fitness activities, family friendly events, volunteer opportunities and Native American Culturally Relevant Activities to more than 1,000 Sober Life members.
  • Offered event space at no charge to more than 50 local non-profit groups and organizations.
  • Engaged more than 34 organization in the Cascade County Substance Abuse Prevention Alliance (SAPA) helping to protect youth from the harmful effects of drugs, alcohol, vaping and tobacco. 
  • Conducted dozens of community trainings ranging from Youth Mental Health First Aid and Question, Persuade and Refer (suicide prevention), to Drug Endangered Children, Fentanyl Awareness, Narcan and Trauma-Informed Care.
  • Provided Parenting Support Services to more than 500 parents and children, including Nurturing Parenting classes, Electric City Circle of Parents Support Group and Parents Forever. 
  • Launched and marketed the Let’s Talk App to provide suicide prevention resources to youth in an easy to use and compelling format.
